An explosion at Santosh Textile Mill in Jolva village, Surat district, Gujarat, resulted in the death of two workers and injuries to 20 others. The incident, triggered by a chemical drum blast, occurred on Monday, September 1, 2025, and led to a raging fire. Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition, with fire tenders still working to douse the blaze.
