Gujarat FDCA Seizes Rs 1.8 Crore in Adulterated Food Items During August Crackdown

The Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA) conducted a major crackdown in August, seizing adulterated and duplicate food items valued at Rs 1.8 crore. During raids and inspections across multiple districts, authorities confiscated approximately 58 tonnes of products, including ghee, palm oil, and paneer, and destroyed 32 kg of unsafe food. This operation aimed to ensure public access to pure and safe food items across the state.
