After AAP Dediapada MLA Chaitar Vasava — who has been lodged at Vadodara Central Jail since July this year after a case was lodged against him for alleged attempt to murder by Dediapada BJP chief Sanjay Vasava — was granted interim bail to participate in the three-day Monsoon Session of the Gujarat Assembly between September 8 and 10, people have started discussing its possible impact. People believe since he will be out of jail during the session, the Speaker may not make a formal announcement about Vasava’s imprisonment in the House that is otherwise mandatory as per the rules of the Assembly. They think this may deprive the Opposition of the chance to attack the ruling party in the House over the issue.
